Digital Millennium Copyright Act Looming on higher education's horizon, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act could represent the first rays of a bright new day or a wayward meteor shower on a collision course. Do you know enough about the Act? What does this Act change? Which digital media does it affect? Does it cover storage, display, printing, transmission, etc.? How does the Act affect our copyright clearance procedures? What happens to "fair use?" Do we really need a new copyright law? How might network managers become liable? There isn't a part of the Academy this proposed law might not affect. Listen to CREN's experts at your desktop and email your questions to them at expert@cren.net.
