What is the recommended computer system to run the CREN Virtual Seminars?

How can this Virtual Seminar be viewed on a slower system?

What software do I need to run this application?

This program requires Netscape Navigator version 3 with at least 16 Megs of RAM available. An installer is available on this disc. Older versions of Netscape are not capable of interpreting all of the JavaScript commands used in the Virtual Seminars.

Internet Explorer and other browsers do not fully implement the JavaScript language, so they should not be used for this application.

You will also need the plug-ins for RealMedia from Progressive Networks and QuickTime from Apple, and Adobe Acrobat. These are provided on the CD. Internet technologies are rapidly changing and the plug-ins on this disc will likely be updated by the various vendors. Please monitor the vendor sites regularly for updates.

Progressive Networks's RealVideo Plug-In may be found at https://www.real.com/

Apple's QuickTime plug-in for Netscape Navigator may be found at https://www.apple.com/
