How can I take notes within this program?

When browser technology was first created, note taking was an integral part of some browsers. As the technology has migrated out of research and educational settings and into the private and corporate worlds, other concerns have taken precedence.

Chief among those concerns is safety and privacy. Because earlier browsers were able to write to the user's hard drive, web pages could be written to damage the user's data. Current version of browsers, such as Netscape and Internet Explorer, are very limited in their ability to write to local drives. For this reason, we are unable to provide a tool that would allow note taking within the Virtual Seminars' interface.

If you wish to take notes, we suggest using a word processor, which you may keep open simultaneously with the CREN Virtual Seminar.
